Jacob Willis (he/him) is an actor, writer and director originally from Edmonton, Alberta. He is constantly thrilled by the ever-changing nature of performance art and strives to create new and impactful stories through interdisciplinary works.

During his time at XU Jacob has had the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s top theatre practitioners including Tim Welham, Jennifer Wigmore, Marriane McIssac, Lisa Karen-Cox, Nicola Correia-Damude, Ivan Sherry, Phillipa Domville, Leah Cherniak and Cynthia Ashperger. Additionally, he has performed as a clown, played Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, and originated the role of Lucentio in Eva Barrie’s Untamed, in partnership with Tarragon Theatre.

Jacob is extremely grateful for his family and friends who have supported him thus far. He is looking forward to what the future holds, and excited to continue growing as an artist and a person.
