Staffen

Cameron sits on a stool, crossing his arms on his propped up knee. He looks sternly at the camera, his head tilted. He wears a pastel striped button up.

Cameron Staffen (he/him) is an artist born and raised in Ontario, Canada. He is inspired by dystopian worlds and parallel universes (and their relationship to our own world), as well as nostalgia, family and folklore.

He wishes to inject his love for storytelling into the world of acting, to create work that is dark and fantastical. He has been acting in theatre productions since he was a kid, in shows from “High School Musical” to “Little Women”. Since then, he has been studying performance acting at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he has worked with directors such as Tim Welham, Leah Cherniak, Iqbal Khan and Elizabeth Dinkova. He aspires to create and write work that has urgency and importance, and he looks forward to starting his career as an artist and storyteller.

As said by Autumn de Forest; “My Goal as an artist is to create art that makes people look at the world in a different way.”
