Join the EL Hub for a conversation on navigating disability-related accommodations in work-integrated learning (WIL). For students with disabilities or who require accommodations, off-campus experiential learning settings can present significant barriers to full participation, and supporting students in these contexts often calls for different considerations and approaches.

This session builds on our previous discussion, going deeper into how faculty, instructors, and staff are approaching accommodation conversations with external partners who offer off-campus WIL opportunities. We’ll also explore how to manage tensions that arise when concerns are raised about whether a student’s accommodations affect their ability to meet essential program and degree requirements.

To support the discussion, we’re pleased to welcome colleagues from Academic Accommodation Support (AAS).

Access & Accommodations

We are committed to ensuring your full participation. Both the DCC building and the event room (DCC-713) are accessible. Adjacent to the room is an accessible, all-gender single-stall washroom. If you have any access or accommodation needs, please email the EL Hub at experiential@torontomu.ca
