Community of Practice (CoP)

CoP gatherings are open to all staff involved in making EL happen on a day-to-day basis, whether in the classroom, within the faculty, or with external partners. CoPs are an opportunity to hear the latest updates on EL at Toronto Metropolitan University, meet and ideate with other EL professionals across campus, ask and answer your questions, and work towards a shared vision and solutions. The EL showcase has been carefully curated by the Experiential Learning Hub staff to provide you with the most crucial information on experiential learning initiatives, updates, and happenings at Toronto Metropolitan and in the larger EL community

We at the EL Hub are thrilled to showcase the amazing effort and work from across our campus community, and the best way to highlight these efforts is by getting students’ perspectives! Introducing the EL Hub Student Showcases! These showcases will aim to raise awareness of EL opportunities around the TMU community and promote students who have engaged with some of those opportunities.

The EL Community Campus Showcase aims to highlight examples of excellence in Experiential Learning at TMU, including course-based, co-curricular, community-engaged, and faculty-led EL that reflect TMU's strategic values. Selected submissions will be featured by the EL Hub, and contributors will have opportunities to participate in our ongoing Community of Practice and individual and panel presentations during the annual TMU Learning and Teaching Conference in May.
