Toronto Metropolitan University will be closed from the end of the day on December 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026 (inclusive). Program staff will respond to inquiries upon their return on January 5.
During the closure, applicants who have started their application process can continue uploading documents. New applicants can complete the first part of their application (external link, opens in new window) but will only receive an email with follow-up instructions to upload their documents once the university reopens in January.
Schedule
The program is completed over four semesters.
Courses are offered in a modular format with students expected to be in class Thursday evenings, and all day Friday and Saturday, five times in the first and third semesters, but fewer times in the second and fourth semesters.

Fall Capstone Term
Students complete 2 courses in the final term which is considered the Capstone Term. Students will work in groups to collaborate with health care organizations to solve a community care problem.
