Prof. Modood, one of the leading thinkers on multicultural citizenship, will share insights from his new book that covers over a decade of his work exploring issues of multiculturalism and the need for a new relationship between political secularism and religious diversity.
Prof. Triandafyllidou will moderate a discussion with Professors Carens and Beaman asking if and how we can rethink secularism and multiculturalism today with the present backdrop of rising religious and populist nationalism in Europe, North America but also Asia. The audience will be invited to participate in a Q&A.
