Parallel Routes: Ghazel & Mamadollah's stories

This exhibition unveils a 5 year-long collaboration between the acclaimed French-Iranian artist, Ghazel, and Afghan craftsman, Mamadollah. Initiated in 2018 in a Ceramic factory in Tehran, their joint endeavor is grounded in their shared experience of exile, transit, and precarious status in their host countries.

The CERC in Migration and Integration supports graduate students and emerging research scholars with research training opportunities. The Migration Research Gyms provide specialized methodology and professional development training through intensive workshops. The small class setting emphasizes mentorship and hands-on learning.

This joint conference between CERC Migration and Bridging Divides brings together an interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral group of researchers and leaders from Canadian and international civil society, business and government to reflect on the implications of the rapid development of ADTs for migrant integration in Canada and around the world.
