Saba Ranjbar is an economist and researcher with expertise in education and labor economics. She earned her PhD in Economics from Concordia University, focusing on human capital and skill formation. Her research explores the relationship between family income and education, as well as how extracurricular activities and part-time work impact high school performance.

Currently, Saba is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta for the Bridging Divides research prgram, where her work focuses on labor market outcomes for immigrants in Canada. She combines her research skills with a commitment to addressing pressing social and economic issues.

Saba has experience in working with large-scale datasets, including NELS, HSLS, and the Labour Force Survey. Dedicated to advancing research and policy development, Saba strives to contribute to a deeper understanding of education and labor market dynamics.
