Studies have shown that Black youth continue to be disproportionately represented in Canada's criminal justice system. In this panel, hosted by the Faculty of Community Services and the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Dr. Annette Bailey, Dr. Janelle Brady and Marlon Merraro, Social Work ’06, explore restorative approaches Black communities are using to disrupt cycles and empower youth with the resources and resilience needed to thrive as adults in society.
