Brampton businesses incorporated in Canada, of any size or stage, can bring forward a real operational, automation or business challenge. You do not need to arrive with an AI strategy or know what technology should solve it. Start with the problem your business already understands.
What could a challenge look like?

What happens after you submit?
Submitted challenges will be reviewed for program fit. Selected challenges may be developed into hackathon challenge statements for participating builder teams. Businesses connected to advancing solutions may then work directly with selected teams during the build and validation phase.
Register your interest by Friday, October 23, 2026. It takes about three minutes to fill the form, and we reply within five business days to set up a short call about fit. Full problem submissions close Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Technology companies, industry partners and ecosystem organizations can support the program through expertise, mentorship, technology and industry knowledge that helps move practical AI adoption forward.
What You Contribute
A 45-minute discovery conversation between mid-October and early November to shape your challenge. A short pitch of your challenge on day one of the hackathon, November 21, 2026. A one-hour monthly check-in with your team from January to August 2027, if your challenge continues into the build phase.
What You Get
If a team takes on your challenge, you keep the prototype for your own operations. If it continues into the build phase, you also get an AI adoption roadmap. You also get the option to run a pilot with your team, a first look at hiring the people on your team, and recognition at Demo Day at the Brampton Venture Expo (BVX) 2027 for pilots and hires.
