BVZ Welcomes New Senior Director: Zied Etleb
We’re pleased to share that Zied Etleb (external link) has joined Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) as Senior Director of the Brampton Venture Zone (BVZ).
Zied brings extensive experience in building and scaling ventures in Canada and internationally. As Co-Founder of Curiato, a Canadian MedTech company that advanced through clinical trials he understands the complexities of Ontario’s innovation ecosystem and the challenges and opportunities facing founders, especially in Southern Ontario.
Across his work, Zied has delivered technology-enabled solutions for public-sector and energy organizations and advised on public-sector reform and economic development initiatives beyond Canada, including multi-million-dollar programs supported in partnership with international financial institutions such as the African Development Bank.
A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program, Zied brings a deep commitment to founder support, strategic partnerships, and inclusive ecosystem growth. In his leadership role, he will work closely with founders, industry partners, the City of Brampton, and the broader TMU ecosystem to continue strengthening Brampton’s innovation landscape.
Zied’s leadership marks an exciting new chapter for BVZ and the broader Brampton innovation ecosystem, as he builds on his strong foundation in venture building, MedTech innovation, and strategic partnerships.
