 A longitudinal study examining the cohesion-group performance relationship

Cohesion-group relationship has been intensively studied; despite the proposed strong influence of cohesion on group performance, empirical findings have not yet offered evidence to support the proposition. The study aims to unravel the intricacy of cohesion-group relationship by applying the longitudinal research methodology and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The findings of the project reveal the dynamics of group cohesion over time and sheds light on the small/moderate cohesion-performance correlation that is often observed in current studies. Read more about Dr. Linying Dong (opens in new window) .
