Toronto, Canada - The Social Ventures Zone (SVZ) at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) is excited to announce the opening of applications for its Spring 2023 Incubation (opens in new window) cohort. The Incubation program is designed to support innovative and socially conscious entrepreneurs by providing access to resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
Entrepreneurs who are passionate about making a positive social impact (opens in new window) in their communities are invited to apply for membership in the SVZ. The program is open to individuals and teams who have a business idea that aligns with the SVZ's mission to create positive social change. The Incubation program is suitable for early-stage startups or those that are in operation and looking to scale up their impact.
Members of the Incubation program will receive access to a range of resources to support their venture, including co-working space, mentorship, training and workshops, funding opportunities, and access to a network of social entrepreneurs, investors, and community partners. In addition, members will have the opportunity to participate in events and programs that will help them build their skills and connections.
To apply for membership in the Incubation program, interested entrepreneurs must submit an application through the SVZ website by April 16th. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and successful applicants will be invited to pitch to the SVZ team and admissions committee. Membership in the Incubation program is competitive, and space is limited.
