Harry Dearden

Harry Dearden is a business analyst for Roseview Global, an incubator that helps new Canadians start their own business. He takes his lived experience with mental health and applies what he learned from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Masters of Digital Media program to his everyday work. He has been fortunate to speak at conferences across Ontario on how to best use UX and human-centric design principles when working in the mental health space. In 2017, Harry received the Peter Armstrong Community Award of Excellence in recognition of his contribution to advancing the awareness of addiction and mental health.

Outside his mental health advocacy, Harry has worked with and at all levels of government in Canada, from a mayor’s office, provincial ministers, and the opposition leader. He takes pride in being able to work with those “across the aisle” to better the lives of everyday Canadians.
