Rethinking Waste

In honour of Plastic-Free July, join the Sustainability Office on Wednesday, July 16 for Rethinking Waste, a 30 minute learning session where you’ll discover how simple changes to your daily habits can help build a greener future for all of us.

Small, everyday choices add up

The way we consume and dispose of products–especially plastics–has a direct impact on the health of our planet.

During this session, we’ll share tips for making small, intentional changes to your daily routine that will reduce your use of single-use plastics, contributing to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future for everyone.

A circular future is within reach

This session will empower you to take practical steps towards a low-waste lifestyle and support a circular economy–one where resources are reused, repaired and recycled.

We’re moving towards zero-waste and need your help

TMU is committed to becoming a zero-waste campus by 2035, but there’s still more work for us to do. We’ll be sharing information about university tools, programs and community supports that will help you lower your carbon footprint while on campus.

Learn more, earn more chances to win

Already taken the Plastic-Free July Pledge? Attendees of this learning session will earn an additional entry into our draw for one (1) of three (3) $50 Indigo gift cards!
