Announcing CREATE Showcase 2021
CREATE Showcase is a culmination and celebration of professional training in the arts. This capstone project will feature over 30 unique and innovative performance based projects from the graduating Production + Design program. From April 22nd to 24th, CREATE will put a spotlight on projects from all disciplines of production covering topics such as new theatre technologies, sustainability in the workplace, and design innovations.
As the future of the live entertainment industry continues to shift, CREATE Showcase demonstrates the learned resiliency of the Production + Design students. This showcase centres the lived experiences of the students who are completing their final year of studies entirely online. The projects reflect changes in the industry, in education, and hopes for the future of live performance.
Over three days of live digital programming CREATE Showcase will include keynote panels, networking opportunities, and featured project presentations.
