Pony Nicole Herauf (She/They) is originally from Calgary, Alberta. She graduated from the Toronto Metropolitan University: School of Performance Acting program in 2018. Pony works as a writer, director, actor, and dramaturge. Her filmic works have been programmed and awarded at festivals such as Fantasia, InsideOut, Vancouver International Film Festival, Whistler, Palm Springs, Mammoth Lakes, CUFF, TIFF, TIFF Next Wave, Chattanooga, Forest City, Myrtle Beach, and now streams on CBC Gem. Her feature-length directorial debut Young Female Playwright received the New Visions award at the Cinequest Film Festival. As an actor, Pony is represented by the Characters Talent Agency.
