Nathaniel Hanula-James collaborates on theatre as a dramaturg, playwright, administrator, and performer. They are a leadership collective member at Shakespeare in the Ruff, one half of Optic Nerve Performance with Sadie Berlin, co-facilitator of Tarragon’s Local Young Playwrights’ Unit with jonnie lombard, staff writer at Intermission Magazine, and co-creator with Karen Fricker and Jose Solís of youareacritic.com, an open-access course in equitable theatre criticism. They co-facilitate Page Turn, a professional development program for emerging arts writers led by Karen Fricker and Neworld Theatre.
