New supports available for the transition to a hybrid workforce!
To: All employees
Welcome back to the fall term and increased activity on campus! The Future of Work team is excited to provide an update on new resources available as we all continue to test new ways of working.
Message from the President
“It’s been wonderful to see so much activity on our campus these past few weeks with the return of students, faculty and employees. While we are enjoying a return to in-person learning, teaching, researching and working, it is important to remember that we cannot return to the way things used to be. Our university has always been about being bold and challenging the status quo. With this in mind, the Future of Work initiative remains a priority. I believe a hybrid system gives us the flexibility we need to be successful, through a combination of working from home and in-person on our campus.
This is a work in progress. It will take time to figure out the right balance for our people, our teams, and for our community. As we continue to test and improve our approaches, I’m excited about the next phase of the project and the opportunities it presents, including the opportunity to change our culture with regard to space - where we work, how we collaborate, and how we imagine our spaces as a community resource for everyone’s benefit. I encourage you to collaborate with the Future of Work team and to imagine a bold future for everyone at TMU.”
