This workshop will help participants distinguish between teaching dossiers, teaching statements, and teaching philosophies. We will explore strategies for writing and showcasing teaching experience and impact, even with limited experience. We will also discuss Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) statements and practices that reflect inclusive, culturally responsive, and student-centered pedagogies. Participants will be encouraged to draw on their own educational experiences as they begin to craft authentic statements that communicate their teaching values and practices.
