Robotics, Mechatronics and Automation Laboratory (RMAL) Farrokh Janabi-Sharifi Primarily focused on applications in biomedical and manufacturing engineering sectors, RMAL is used for fundamental and applied research related to robotics and mechatronic systems. The lab takes a broad approach, with success measured according to industrial and social impact.
Embodied Learning and Intelligence for eXploration and Innovative soft Robotics (ELIXIR) Lab Robin Chhabra Research at the ELIXIR Lab is dedicated to advancing adaptive, intelligent, and resilient robotic systems through the integration of embodied AI, soft robotics, and geometric control theory. Our mission is to develop robots capable of real-time adaptation, robust decision-making, and long-term autonomy across a wide spectrum of domains, from domestic and biomedical settings to aerial, terrestrial, and extraterrestrial exploration.
