Is this degree for you?

TMU’s Undeclared Engineering entry option lets you explore various engineering disciplines in first semester, before selecting a degree program to focus your studies. All of our nine engineering programs share a common first semester, so you won’t be out of sync with your classmates, and you won’t have to reapply to engineering once you make your decision.

In first semester, you’ll dive into each discipline in our Introduction to Engineering course (CEN 100). You’ll also study engineering fundamentals, such as physics, chemistry, and calculus, so you’ll be prepared for any pathway.

Throughout your journey, our academic advisors and First-Year Engineering Office ambassadors can help guide you to the program that best suits you.

Program transfer

By December 1, you’ll declare the engineering program you want to pursue. Please refer to the programs in the tab below.
