Anuja Varghese is a celebrated new voice in Canadian literature, and her work has appeared in magazines and anthologies, including CBC Books and Queer Toronto Literary Magazine. Her debut short story collection, Chrysalis, received several prestigious awards, including the 2023 Governor General’s Literary Award for Fiction and Writers’ Trust of Canada’s 2023 Dayne Ogilvie Prize for LGBTQ2+ Emerging Writers. Anuja is also a fundraising professional in the non-profit sector, working for organizations like YWCA Hamilton.
