David Keighley's 33-year career in film and digital post-production has been as bold and illuminating as the vivid images he brings to life on the giant screen. Propelled by a lifelong passion for the large film format, he has engineered many technical innovations that have revolutionized the industry. Currently senior vice-president of IMAX Corporation and president of DKP 70MM Inc., he has applied his education, experience and considerable expertise to more than 200 large format motion pictures. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers fellow, and winner of the Giant Screen Theater Association's prestigious Special Achievement Award. His pioneering IMAX work will only continue elevating the movie-going experience to breathtaking new heights.
