BVZ Kicks Off the 2026 Brampton Innovator Program — Fueling Bold Ideas Across Industries
This past Wednesday, January 14, Brampton Venture Zone (BVZ) proudly launched the 2026 Brampton Innovator Program, welcoming an energetic cohort of 40+ founders and aspiring entrepreneurs into a transformative innovation journey.
The 2026 Brampton Innovator Program cohort with the Brampton Venture Zone (BVZ) team at the program kickoff event.
Designed as a 5-week, industry-agnostic market research and validation program, the Brampton Innovator Program supports founders at two critical stages of their startup path:
- Entrecurious Track — for individuals shaping ideas or exploring entrepreneurship, and
- MVP Builder Track — for founders with a prototype or near-MVP ready to validate, test, and scale.
The kickoff brought together innovators from across sectors — from healthtech and AI to services, and emerging technologies — reinforcing BVZ’s commitment to supporting founders regardless of industry, while grounding them in strong fundamentals of market discovery and customer validation.
To help founders immediately connect with the local innovation ecosystem, we were joined by the Invest Brampton economic development team, who connected with the new cohort.
We were also excited to welcome alumni from the first Brampton Innovator Program cohort — Amandipp Singh (external link) , Founder of Enabled Talent (external link) , and Alain Maisonneuve (external link) , Founder of GoGedit Inc (external link) . — who returned to connect and network with the new cohort, sharing their founder journeys and highlighting the value of staying engaged with the Brampton ecosystem.
The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and strong early momentum as founders began building relationships within a supportive, founder-first community.
As the program moves into the weeks ahead, we wish this new cohort the very best in the coming weeks as they learn, build, and grow together.
