LIZ and MT Ventures Join Forces to Pilot New Startup SuperCharger Program

TORONTO, October 28th, 2025 —The Legal Innovation Zone (LIZ) at Toronto Metropolitan University and MT Ventures (external link) , a division of McCarthy Tétrault (external link) , are partnering to pilot an exclusive Startup SuperCharger Program for incubated Canadian legal tech companies preparing to fundraise. The comprehensive seven-stage series will run from October 2025 to March 2026 and culminate in a final demo day showcasing the participating startups.

Hosted at McCarthy Tétrault’s Toronto office, and featuring seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts, the Program will cover fundamentals for investment readiness. From product-market fit to communicating financials, legal readiness to pitch development, this initiative aims to provide founders with the knowledge, materials and confidence to enhance their fundraising success.
