Industry Day spotlights Master of Digital Media cohort 15.0
Master of Digital Media Cohort 15.0 at Luminance.
The Master of Digital Media (opens in new window) program’s annual showcase, Industry Day, returned this year with Luminance. Featuring the graduating 15.0 cohort, the event brought together students, faculty, and industry leaders for two days of presentations and networking. This year’s group was the program’s most diverse yet, with students representing 15 countries and 35 major research projects spanning immersive media, applied AI, financial technology, and interactive storytelling.
Highlights included Projective Machines (external link, opens in new window) by Jean-Jacques Pary, a modular system using AI and embodied computing to create interactive, co-authored experiences in real time; Fan Activation Experience (external link, opens in new window) by Sneesha Anandkumar and Holly Bachman, an esports engagement platform designed in partnership with OverActive Media for the 2025 Call of Duty Championships; and Little AR Explorer (external link, opens in new window) by Swetlana Adhikari, Crystal Mariam Varghese, and Fyha Zubaida, an augmented reality scavenger hunt that transforms visits to Little Canada into playful opportunities for learning and discovery.
Now in its 15th year, Industry Day continues to be a launchpad for Master of Digital Media students by offering them a platform to showcase their research, connect with industry leaders, and spark future collaborations across the digital media sector.
