Join us for soup and a conversation, moderated by Angela Misri, Assistant Professor, School of Journalism, about how artificial intelligence and machine learning are affecting creative practice. What new creative possibilities are opened by this technology? How are artists, journalists, and designers using this technology to innovate and what ethical issues do they face? What is the real impact of I4.0 on creativity? The panel features Dr. Bart Gladysz, Deputy Director for Science and Assistant Professor at the Institute for Production Systems Organization, Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology; Sonali Verma, Deputy Head of Audience at The Globe and Mail; Krzysztof Krystosiak, Assistant Professor, GCM; and Dr. Tamas Ruppert, Associate Professor, Department of Process Engineering, University of Pannonia. Supported by The Creative School New Collaborations Grant.
