RTA School of Media alum Evan Kosiner and Arts and Contemporary Studies alum Julia Faith got engaged at Kerr Hall East 129 where they first met 10 years ago.

On Friday, November 4, 2022, Evan suggested to his girlfriend that they visit their old campus before a dinner reservation. While roaming around the quad area and reminiscing on past memories, Julia didn’t think for once that their walk would end with an engagement ring on her finger.

Julia and Evan were brought together by English 108, a course that took place at Kerr Hall East 129. Initially, Julia found Evan “quite annoying”, and while Evan skipped many classes, when he made it to the lecture, he always sat next to Julia. Eight years later, social media allowed the two to reconnect when Julia reached out to Evan through Instagram.

Fast forward to November 4, Evan blindfolded Julia and took her to the same classroom where it all began. It was only appropriate for the couple to meet with their family and friends at Ram in the Rye where they continued with their celebrations.

Congratulations to Evan and Julia, we are happy to have been part of your journey!
