EDC Access for Undergrad Students in the Winter 2024 Term Ended on April 26th

EDC access for undergraduate students enrolled in courses during the 2024 Winter Term has ended. Only students enrolled in Creative School courses that run in the Spring/Summer 2024 Term are eligible to use EDC equipment and facilities.

Keytracer Instructions

What it Keytracer?

The EDC uses a system called Keytracer to assist with after hours facilities access when the EDC is closed.

Racilities reservations must still be made via normal EDC procedures. Visit the Borrow Process tab for more information.

Where is the Keytracer Cabinet?

The Keytracer cabinet is located on the second floor of the RCC, beside the water fountian near the main elevator.

How do I use Keytracer?

  1. Scan your Ryerson OneCard on the card reader located on the right side of the cabinet
  2. For Single Key Reservations
    1. Open the door cabinet door when prompted and remove the key fob with the lit Red Ring
  3. For Multiple Room Reservations
    1. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to highlight desired room
    2. Press the Green Button to select
    3. Open the door cabinet door when prompted and remove the key fob with the lit Red Ring
  4. Close the cabinet door
  1. Scan your Ryerson OneCard
    1. If prompted, select Return
  2. Tap the Black fob on the returning keys to the Blue Arrow lights below the keypad
  3. Open door & return key to the slot with the Red Ring
  4. Close the cabinet
  • Patrons can only access Keytracer for the exact time of their reservation
    • Access before your scheduled time is not allowed due to how the system works
  • Late returns to Keytracer will be recorded and fines will be applied in accordance with the EDC Fine Policy
