TMU Admissions Important Dates

The important dates for the 2026 admissions cycle are outlined below.

Jul. 10, 2025	2026 Admissions Cycle Opens for Application in OMSAS
Oct. 1, 2025	Application Deadline Applications must be submitted via OMSAS by 4:30 p.m. ET on October 1, 2025 in order to be considered for the 2026 admissions cycle. Deadline to submit documents All supporting documentation such as transcripts, confidential assessment forms, identity verification documentation, etc. must accompany the application/be submitted by the application deadline.
Oct. 3, 2025	Deadline to Submit Request for Accommodation for Asynchronous Assessment & Interview Applicants with a disability or disabilities who anticipate requiring accommodations to participate in the online Asynchronous Vendor Assessment and/or MMI/interview must submit an (google form) MD Admissions Accommodation Request Form (external link) and supporting medical documentation (letter from a regulated health care practitioner) to the TMU Academic Accommodations Support (AAS) office by 11:59 p.m. ET. on this date.
Nov. 13, 2025	Asynchronous vendor assessment invitation Applicants who are selected to advance to the Asynchronous Vendor Assessment will receive an email invitation on this date.
Nov. 20-23, 2025	Asynchronous vendor assessment completion deadline Invited applicants will be required to complete the asynchronous vendor assessment during this time.
TBD	Interview invitations sent
TBD	Interview scheduling deadline
Feb/Mar 2026	Interviews
May. 12, 2026	First-round offers of admission Successful applicants will receive an offer of admission on this date.
Rolling	Additional offers of admission to waitlisted candidates Additional offers of admission will be made on a rolling basis as any round one offers are declined. Additional offers to waitlisted candidates will be made in the order in which the candidate is ranked on the waitlist.
May. 26, 2026	Deadline to accept offers of admission Applicants have until May 26, 2026 to accept their offer of admission.
One (1) Week from Offer Acceptance Date	Deadline to accept rolling offers and submit deposit Applicants who receive an offer of admission after May 26, 2026 will have one (1) week from their offer date to accept their offer of admission and make their tuition deposit of $1,000.
Jun. 30, 2026	Deadline to submit final transcripts to OMSAS
Jul. 31, 2026	Deadline to submit the following to TMU: Police Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check Basic Life Support (BLS) Training certification Immunization and Health Screening Proof of Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency Essential Skills and Abilities for Entry to a Medical Degree Program
Sep. 2026 TBD	MD program student orientation weeks
Sep. 2026 TBD	First day of classes
