Queer Community Circle Peer Support Group
Being queer can mean many different things, and your journey is uniquely yours. Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating coming out, questioning relationship norms, or finding your place between family expectations and chosen family, Health Promotion Programs' Queer Community Circle is a space where you don’t have to explain, shrink or hide who you are. In this peer support group, there’s no pressure to share — just come as you are and know you're not alone in figuring things out.
Tri-Mentoring Program 2SLGBTQ+ Group Mentoring
The Tri-Mentoring Program is a welcoming space for 2SLGBTQ+ students at TMU. Here you can connect, celebrate diverse identities, share experiences and build community together. Through group conversations and activities, you can meet peers with similar lived experiences, find support and feel a stronger sense of belonging on campus.

External Mentorship and Peer Support
Supporting Our Youth (SOY) Sherbourne Health
A community initiative by Sherbourne Health that offers free health promotion services (external link) and programming for 2SLGBTQ+ youth across the Greater Toronto Area. Services include drop-in groups, mentorship, guidance on housing and education. They also offer mental and primary healthcare, plus practical support like financial aid, career coaching and more.
Trans Youth Socials (519)
Check out monthly trans youth socials (external link) that aim to connect 2-Spirit, trans or nonbinary youth (16-29 years old) in a supportive, affirming and fun environment. Social events include ice skating, movie nights, picnics and karaoke.

Gdoo-maawnjidimi Mompii Indigenous Student Services offers culturally supportive programs and initiatives to First Nations, Inuit and Métis students at TMU. Here, you’ll find specialized services that help you balance your academic goals with traditional teachings and culture.

2-Spirited People of the First Nations
Founded in 1995, 2-Spirited People of the First Nations (external link) supports the Two-Spirit, Indigenous Queer, and Transgender (2SIQT) communities in Ontario with holistic services rooted in Indigenous health and wellness philosophies.
Bangladeshi Queer Liberation Collective

Queer Muslim Network
This supportive space for queer and trans Muslims (external link) of all sects offers resources in Toronto and Ottawa.
Queer South Asians

A regular, casual support group for BIPOC trans people (external link) run by the 519.
Rising From Our Roots
