Celebrating 40 years

The promotion of female leadership in Canadian universities, colleges and technical institutes

The Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada (SWAAC) organization was founded in 1987 to provide a forum and a collective voice for women in senior administrative ranks in Canadian universities, colleges and technical institutes.

SWAAC welcomes members who are in any level of academic or administrative leadership in higher education in Canada, and those who aspire to be leaders in this sector.

Land Acknowledgement

Getting to TMU

Parking Information

  • 160 Mutual St. Garage (PIT): Community members only. Early bird rate (enter 6 AM–7:59 AM, exit before 7 PM) is $13 on weekdays; regular day rate is $15.
  • 288 Church St. Garage (DCC): Daphne Cockwell Complex underground garage. Early bird rate is $15; standard rates are $4 per 30 minutes.
  • 300 Victoria St. Garage (PKG): Offers standard daily and early bird parking options alongside permit access.
  • 202 Jarvis St. Lot: Surface lot with accessible and bus parking. Weekday rates are $4 per 30 minutes with a $19 daily max.

Taking the Union-Pearson (UP) Express

Union Pearson Express train station is located in Terminal 1, directly adjacent to the Link Train service linking Terminals 1 and 3. You will be able to get to downtown Union station in 25 minutes. For more information, visit the UP Express (external link)  website. Once you reach Union station, you can either take a taxi to TMU or take the subway to TMU station.

Taking the TTC from Union Station

From Union Station, take TTC Line 1 Yonge-University northbound to TMU Station. You will exit into Sankofa Square and our campus is a short walk away.
