Biography
Lynn Liang has an extensive academic background in Graphic Design, Typography, and Illustration, She is from Wenzhou China. She is Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. she is a junior Graphic designer who now lives in North York, Toronto, Ontario. Lynn capitalized on her background in design and supported clients with innovative design solutions. Lynn is also fascinated by visual storytelling and strives to create emotional narratives through her designs. She would like to strengthen her capacity to convey seemingly intangible values through visual communication.
Lynn considers design as a problem-solving platform instead of decoration purpose only, she wishes to use her designs to help individuals, clients, and companies find their own voices. Lynn is also a mother of 3 lovely cats with very rich experience in taking care of animals!
Why Digital Media?
The MDM program incorporates a large variety of experiential learning projects. For example, Field Placement is a valuable opportunity to gain additional experience in the field. The Zone Learning project offers opportunities to apply my background in branding and graphic design to various startup initiatives. I am particularly interested in the Transmedia Zone. Finally, the Innovation Studio offers opportunities to collaborate with other innovators on creative projects. I look forward to participating in these and other opportunities during my studies at MDM.
