Biography
Zoey graduated from the University of Toronto with a major in new media studies and minors in media and music. During Zoey's four years of undergraduate, she developed solid foundations in digital media, design, and music. Zoey's passion for video creation drives her to keep making videos, which allows her to be engaged with the community and learn more about the field. Throughout the summer, Zoey continued to work as an intern at Guangdong TV Station to further her interest. With this experience, she has gained a comprehensive understanding of the media production sector, which also demonstrated how TV production gradually switched its emphasis to social media and how it creates media products from the initial idea to the finished product for distribution to the target audience.
Why Digital Media?
From the MDM Program, I anticipate being able to create my videos and become more interested in other forms of digital media, explore the changes in how audiences consume media and investigate the media environment's landscape within the new media sector. Additionally, I want to obtain more practical experience finishing a project on my own with particular criteria or subjects and understand more about how the digital media industry functions.

Be Your Own Algorithms
Be Your Own Algorithms is an interactive storytelling game in which players are expected to act as back-end algorithms; they will be asked to advise or recommend pertinent information to keep the "user" online as long as possible. The purpose of the current study is to encourage participants to think from the perspective of algorithms and learn from the game by demonstrating how the backend algorithm functions.
