Biography

Wenyue Zheng is a Toronto-based UX designer with a background in both Physical and Digital product design. She is passionate about applying emerging technologies to improve Health and Entertainment industry. 

In her background in industrial design. She has developed good competencies and capabilities in Design, Thinking, and Making. During her study and work experience in the digital field, Wenyue demonstrates her rigor in design research, and a conceptual capability to create interesting interfaces and interactions. In her design projects, Wenyue shows good sensitivity to designing meaningful, digital interactions while situating these in the complex systems we live in these days.

Why Digital Media?

Digital media is an interdisciplinary field that uses digitalized technology as the medium to explore the impact of technology on people's lives. I am passionate about the openness and unconstrained in the nature of digital media. It allows people have equal rights to publish, explore, communicate and connect with others. In digital media, we don't design for the sake of technology; we don't design for the sake of novelty. We explore rational communication and innovation that bridge humans and technology.

During game development, we explore innovative strategies to rapidly create engaging, serious games while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
