Biography

After graduating with her degree, Runyi learned a lot about software developing and creating her own games. She enjoyed the most the satisfaction of real-time feedback, and she often had to learn new techniques and algorithms, implement them in software, and debug and problem-solve. This requires her to focus on one issue at a time, and the experience gives her a strong sense of accomplishment.

Why Digital Media?

My earliest memory related to computers was playing Dr. Stanley's House during my primary school computer class. Since then, I have been interested in computers. I eventually got into digital art and graphic design. My first work experience was a contract to create images of pre- and post-surgery instructions for use on a WeChat page. I really enjoyed the process, and I started exploring digital creation as a career path. This led me into enrolling in the Bachelor’s in Game Programming and eventually here for MDM.
