Why Digital Media?

While completing my undergrad in the digital media field, I discovered that my next step was to continue my research in regard to the way audiences interact and react to different forms of digital media. Fine art, video games, and virtual reality are a few forms that hold so much potential. How are people affected and conditioned by the mediums that are surrounding them constantly, both consciously and unconsciously. Digital media is a fascinating field that's consistently changing and evolving and both have incredible benefits and also negative effects. I think it's important to capitalize on the potential and I hope to play a part in bringing digital media to a new and exciting place, both for very practical reasons and for entertainment.
