- TMU's Study Abroad and Global Exchange Portal: LIR has a formal agreement with the Universidad de Málaga (external link) in Spain. Read about Karine Regai's study abroad experience.
- North American Language and Culture Assistants Program (external link) (NALCAP): This program through the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain places students and graduates who are native-like speakers of English as language assistants in elementary and secondary schools in Spain. French
- TMU's Study Abroad and Global Exchange Portal: New for the 2026/2027 academic year, LIR has a formal agreement with the Université du Man (external link) in France.
- Explore (external link) : A five-week French language bursary program in Canada. Students who complete a university credit course through the program may be eligible to use the credit towards their TMU degree! Be sure to submit a Letter of Permission at least six weeks before beginning Explore.
- Odyssey (external link) : A Language-Assistant Program in Canada.
- French Ministry of Education: English Teaching Assistantships (external link) : For students interested in being an English teaching assistant in France.
