EL Hub Community of Practice

The Experiential Learning Hub is excited to share that we will be hosting our next Community of Practice (CoP) with a focus on Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) and Experiential Learning (EL).  Together, we will discuss the impacts of AI on current and future approaches to EL at TMU.  

We want to hear about your experiences encountering Gen AI, and learn what those in your communities and networks are sharing about their practices with the technology. Through conversation together, we hope to explore: 

• How is generative AI currently utilized in your program and department?
• What knowledge and skill gaps do faculty and staff face when attempting to integrate Gen AI into experiential learning (EL) delivery or facilitation?
• Have any resources been developed in your program or department to support the integration of generative AI into EL and AI in the curriculum more broadly?
• What types of generative AI/EL-related supports or resources would be beneficial for you in your role at TMU?
• Are the members of the CoP interested in continuing this discussion at future meetings, or shaping institutional EL policy and priorities for the integration of generative AI?
