On side projects, finding inspiration, and the creative process:  

I like to do a lot of creative projects on the side, specifically to do with film and television. I've starred in a web series, I've done theater, I'm working on a script that I'm writing - and I can honestly say of all of those things that I get inspiration and ideas (and most of my motivation) from other things that I've either done or seen.   

I have a journal, and any time I watch a movie, I just like to have it with me. Then if there's a scene or if there's something specific - something as simple as a song or the way  that the camera does a certain thing - I make a note. All of those types of things inspire me. Or seeing other friends or other people I know work on projects or create content; I see that kind of stuff and it sparks my own personal creativity.
