I believe the Creative Industries program excels when you are actively putting in work outside of school in the industry you're trying to be a part of. This approach places the classes in a more meaningful context. Initially, I felt a bit confused about why I was learning certain things, but as I worked on my brand and collaborated with others, I found myself in situations where I could apply some of the class concepts. If you're only absorbing theory in class for four years, you'll have a rude awakening at the end. It's crucial to be proactive in pushing yourself. I understand it's challenging, but you do have enough time outside of your schooling to engage in these activities, and I believe the program is designed to provide sufficient time to go out and gain practical experience. Everyone I know from the program who is currently thriving actively sought opportunities within the industry.
