TMU Admissions Important Dates

Jul. 9, 2026

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted via OMSAS by 4:30 p.m. ET on October 1, 2026 in order to be considered for the 2027 admissions cycle.

Deadline to submit documents

All supporting documentation such as transcripts, confidential assessment forms, and uploads via Secure Applicant Messaging (SAM) must accompany the application/be submitted via OMSAS by the application deadline.

Deadline to Submit Request for Accommodation for Asynchronous Assessment & Interview

Applicants with a disability or disabilities who anticipate requiring accommodations to participate in the online Asynchronous Assessment and/or MMI or Talking Circle must submit an  (google form) MD Admissions Accommodation Request Form (external link)  and supporting medical documentation (letter from a regulated health care practitioner) to the TMU Academic Accommodations Support (AAS) office by 11:59 p.m. ET. on this date. 

Asynchronous assessment invitation

Applicants will receive an email invitation on this date to register for the asynchronous assessment.

Nov. 19-22, 2026

Asynchronous assessment completion deadline

Invited applicants will be required to complete the asynchronous assessment on the Kira Talent platform during this time.

First-round offers of admission

Successful applicants will receive an offer of admission on this date.

Rolling

Additional offers of admission to waitlisted candidates

Additional offers of admission will be made on a rolling basis as any offers are declined. Additional offers to waitlisted candidates will be made in the order in which the candidate is ranked on the waitlist.

Deadline to accept offers of admission

Applicants have until May 25, 2027 to accept our offer of admission. 

One (1) Week from Offer of Admission Date

Deadline to accept rolling offers and submit tuition deposit

Applicants who receive an offer of admission after May 25, 2027 will have one (1) week from their offer date to accept their offer of admission and make their tuition deposit of $1,000.

Jun. 30, 2027

Deadline to submit final transcripts to OMSAS

Successful applicants must arrange with their registrar’s office to forward a copy of their final transcript directly to OMSAS by June 30.

Note: Graduate students must provide either a final official transcript as proof of completion, or a letter from the Faculty of Graduate Studies or Registrar’s Office confirming that all graduate degree requirements are expected to be completed by August 1, 2027.

Jul. 31, 2027

Deadline for successful applicants to submit the following non-academic registration requirements:

• Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Training certification
• Immunization and Health Screening 
• Proof of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or Convention Refugee status
• Ordinarily Resident in Ontario Verification
• Essential Skills and Abilities for Entry to a Medical Degree Program Statement of Acknowledgement

Graduate studies completion deadline

Successful TMU applicants enrolled in graduate studies are expected to have completed all graduate degree requirements by August 1, 2027, however Fall convocation is permitted.
