Kaela Kay, founded by Catherine Addai, is a Toronto-based clothing brand offering feminine designs that fuse Addai’s Ghanian roots with her North American upbringing.1 The clothing is made in Toronto by local seamstresses. One of the signatures of Addai's brand is her use of Ankara textiles, like the one used to create this mask and headwrap set. These bright and colourful fabrics, used commonly in African clothing, give her brand its distinct identity.
