This scenario focuses on a group of teenagers who have experienced disrupted family lives, abuse and repressed anger. A counsellor must reach these teens who have little patience for authority.

Information for Learners

You are a Social Worker/Child Youth Worker/Counsellor working at an office in a local community centre. You have been working with a group of teenagers who have experienced disrupted family lives, abuse and repressed anger.

Note: This simulation can be presented as a single scenario taking place during week three of the group's meetings or it can ben done over several weeks to include meeting the group on two or three occasions (week twelve and week eighteen).
