Dr. C. (Ravi) Ravindran

While in the industry, Dr. Ravindran had made several innovative R&D contributions in steel making and continuous casting, particularly in reoxidation, primary and secondary cooling, inclusion control, rolling of silicon steels and process development for continuous casting of microalloyed steels. With his extensive experience in the metal casting industry and strong industrial relations, he then established the CNPM at Ryerson where he has supervised several thesis students and has authored (and co-authored) numerous technical papers.
