Statements of an instructor's teaching philosophy are a key part of hiring and promotional materials, yet they are often clouded with generalities and platitudes that obscure the skills of the person writing them. In this workshop, you will learn how to reflect meaningfully on your teaching, gather evidence of your teaching skills, and craft a compelling document that will highlight what is distinctive about your classes.
