About

The Course Design Retreat (CDR) is an intensive two-day, in-person workshop for TFA and TFA-LTF faculty. It takes participants through all the stages of course design, from initial concept to draft syllabus. Participants are strongly encouraged to arrive with either a syllabus they'd like to revise or whatever they already have drafted for a course they would like to create from scratch (just a concept is okay).

Both days of the retreat will be 9-4. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

In a change from previous years, all members of the TFA and LTF members of the ETP are eligible for this workshop, but space is limited. If we are over-enrolled, we will give priority to registrants who have completed 4 or 5 workshops for the ETP and/or the ISW.

Audience

TFA and TFA-LTF faculty.

Facilitated by

M Dougherty, PhD, Educational Developer, CELT.
