About

In this workshop, we will explore strategies for teaching as an instructor who speaks English as a second language (ESL). We will discuss the benefits of incorporating diverse linguistic and cultural perspectives into teaching, including how these backgrounds build inclusive classroom communities and promote both student engagement and intercultural learning. Participants will also explore how to utilize effective communication frameworks and instructional strategies that encourage, guide, and support student learning and instructor confidence.
