Rajeshwar Acharya
Rajeshwar Acharya is the Research Finance Coordinator for the Bridging Divides research program at Toronto Metropolitan University. He coordinates and monitors research accounting administrative processes and activities associated with researchrelated expenses for all research grants and contracts for Bridging Divides.
Rajeshwar brings a multidisciplinary lens to research finance with over 15 years of experience in project coordination, financial management, and administrative roles across academic and non-academic sectors in Canada, Denmark, Norway, and Nepal. He has previously worked at the University of Toronto and Scotiabank in Canada, and received multiple awards, including Scotiabank Branch Employee of the Year in Canada, a faculty-funded PhD fellowship from Aarhus University in Denmark, and the prestigious Norad scholarship in Norway.
Rajeshwar holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, a Master's degree in Rural Development from Tribhuvan University (Nepal), and an MPhil degree in Gender and Development from the University of Bergen (Norway). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Anthropology at Aarhus University (Denmark), with a focus on international education financing in Nepal.
